















The Polish Air Force Memorial in Normandy was built to commemorate the 75th
Anniversary of D-Day in Plumetot, Normandy, France. Paying homage to the 302, 315, 317
Polish Fighter Squadrons who flew alongside the Royal Air Force in WWII during D-Day and
the Battle of Normandy. Commissioned by the Polish Air Force committee and initiated by Franciszek
Kornicki a WWII Polish Air Force Pilot. Services provided by my practice included the
design, planning consent, conservation and heritage statement, project management,
material selection and the monitoring of the construction works in coordination with the
